Hello again,
Finally the engine was painted and now waiting only for the wash

Now started the hardest part of assembly i.e. joining fuel tanks with the engine and keep them in the line with shaft after setting them in the frame

the result will be more/less like that

K

Excellent beginning, K!  Outstanding job on the engines.  Great decision to go with the Small Parts engines since this contraption is basically all engine.
Cheers,
Bud

Hello,
During assembly It is always such a time that the critical moment must occur. In that particular built I had one once tried to set the engine in the frame at the required position. The smallstuff engine did not fit at the bottom part of the frame, which means that in order to do it easy way I had to size up the main vertical pipe. The risk to buckle the frame was taken into consideration and optimal dummy part was prepared. Now it looks better:)

Hello,

in case of side absorbers I have tried to keep same appearance as on the pictures, so got rid of flat P/E part and use dummy ones.

now all small part assembly is being performed and the final rigging makes me little concern ;D as always
