Hi!

I've painted the underside of the wings with canvas color.
I'm satisfied with the result.

I've also decide to paint the roundels and the rudder stripes instead of using decals.
I've used Misterkit red and blue raf/rfc roundels colors. They are lighter than the kit decals, but usually the misterkit paint WW1 paints are well researched...
What do you think?

Now I'll start to paint the top of the wings. More updates in the next days!

Cheers,

Andrew

I can't help with the rudder colours, but that's one great looking build!

The rudder colours you have used look very good to me, the Wingnuts blue looks very dark on their decals.

 Hi!

Time to post something new  :D

I've painted the roundels on the underside of the wing.
I've cut some mask on frisket and painted them

Then I've painted the top surfaces.
For the color I've used the Misterkit PC10.
I needed to break up a little the finish, so I'v edone some pre-shading in black and white

Here's the finish result

Now I have to paint the details and add some weathering

Bye

Andrew

Fantastic paintwork, Andrew!  The roundels are spectacular.

I really like the effect you've got on the upper surfaces by pre-shading, Andrew, that's very effective. This is looking a spectacular result well underway!
Cheers,
Lance

Outstanding Andrew! In particular the Roundels came out perfect  8) Your Mister Kit PC 10 looks very good. It looks much closer to my thoughts on PC 10 than I remember the bottle I had did. Maybe I need to re examine my orginal thoughts and pick some up  :D

Hi!

First off all thank to everyobdy for the support.

About the Misterkit PC10:
I've tweaked a picture to show you the right color (at least on my monitor...). The previous pictures were not showing the exact color of pc10.
It's greenish
