Thanks Bud, and George for the photo. I watched Kermit's video on start procedures while trying to puzzle out the details on the fuel site gauge on the instrument panel, it solved that question for me and several others, excellent material. I can't begin to imagine how much fun that Guy has, always having to fly those vintage rebuilds and repros.......... ::) 8)

You did a great job on the seat cushion Lance. The front edge looks so straight and regular that one would think it came out of the kit. Superb job of picking out the highlights and shadows on the wicker seat-back too. Simply superb! It was a good choice to include it. I, on the other hand . . .   :-[

Thanks Chris, the Barracuda seat's quality and lack of flash etc make it a pretty easy exercise! The cockpit is going very slowly now, the challenge being to get all of the rigging in place while access is relatively easy. I hope to start putting it together later today......

   Those pictures are somewhat delayed, Ernie. Completing the rigging of the flight controls has proved a bit of a "bear" that I'm still trying to wrestle to the ground!

Thanks George, that's precisely what I had in mind. I never knew that about the Snipe, so Kermit's video was most enlightening.

I've often wondered how the early pilots alleviated the effects of castor oil fumes whilst airborne.
