Truly fascinating

A definate find to pore over for little details too  :D Anyone notice the small data plate on the tail plane half thats normally behind the elevator counter balance for instance?

Those DIIIs had a lovely gloss varnish finish to them. I wonder how long that shine lasted for?

Didn't notice the light reflecting off of the fuselage until I read your post! Not sure how long the gloss would last but this does make me want to go back to a more satiny finish on my Models in the future!

Fascinating!  Thank you for sharing that.  I've built a lot of RC models from plans so a lot of those steps look very familiar, just on a larger scale!
