A definate find to pore over for little details too :D Anyone notice the small data plate on the tail plane half thats normally behind the elevator counter balance for instance?
Thanks for sharing Martin.

Super footage, Martin. Thanks for posting it. When I see just how many people were involved in getting the struts lined up to fit the upper wing on that D.V (?), it puts my own struggles into perspective.
Best wishes

(Actually it's a D.III...) I thought it was kind of interesting to see that the upper wing went on first, the lower wings being essentially hung from it.

It is pleasure for me to give you some back.

Those DIIIs had a lovely gloss varnish finish to them. I wonder how long that shine lasted for?

Didn't notice the light reflecting off of the fuselage until I read your post! Not sure how long the gloss would last but this does make me want to go back to a more satiny finish on my Models in the future!

Fascinating! Thank you for sharing that. I've built a lot of RC models from plans so a lot of those steps look very familiar, just on a larger scale!
