Hello everybdy!
summer is not a good time for modeling because it's a good time for su much things!

anyway here is my last update:
back to the model.

I did the roundels.
we are in november of 15. until summer 1915, british planes had a white and red roundels or union jacks as national identification. this last one seems to look  too much like  german crosses...
so three colors roundels were adoted.
in the begining the order was not quite definited so the 1264 had inversed colors...

then, I wathered them.

after that I wanted to put the serials decals but I saw they were too much big.

the aera had too much wires to apply a stencil, so I decided to use the mask method:

I will perhaps do again the left side but the result convinced me...

oh and last but not least, the modern 1264 flies!!!!

hip hip, hurray!!!

Xan

Nice progress, Xan!  The Roundel "shadow" on the underside
of the wing is a really good touch.  Excellent work!

Cheers,
Ernie :)

I agree with all of the others reference the quality of your build! The weathering is perfect as is the see through. Your interior work was awesome. All around gorgeous work!
