Awesome, Xan! Your frame and your rudder look great. The frame and support rigging are nicely in scale, especially for 1/48!

Hello!

I return to the model. particuraly to the metalic part of the frame...
quite hard to decide how paint it...
This pic shows the 1264 or the 1262 un summer of 1915 before Bunnie came to greece

metal parts seems to be paint .
I thought about the battleshhip grey, but this appears officialy in 1916...

in the 3032 lateral part seems to be paint but the cowl seems to be natural metal color .

in this 1264 picture, the cowl can be metal color..

I decided finaly to do as the Bremner brothers did

so here are the pics :

The wheels are done too :

you will notice that the tire were black in those scouts...

Hello there!
back to the frame, I did the horizontal stabiliser:

after comparaison with the replica, I saw the real one was smaller than the one I did :

the real one had the smaller size tail too:

I did mine according to the plans David gave me  :'(...

anyway my model have the big size too, so I will let it as it is...

Back to the model:

when the union Jack diseapears for the roundel, they painted the flag, and we can see it on the 1262 and 1266 scouts pics:

An other thing: those plane had the oil tank head on the pilote . With the plane vibration and the rotative engine, the frame 's fabric was very dirty, as you can see in the two pics above.

So I try to represent it:

that's all folks!
