hello Iam an italian modeller can anyone help me ? iam looking for the color and markings of lobo benbow raf fe 8 in 40 squadron and the fligth a b or c ? thank you all

Hello there,

Edwin Lewis `Lobo`Benbow flew 2 different FE8 aircraft.
The one that he was acredited with most if not all of his victories was 7627
according to my research 7626 was `blue 1` and flown by captain Leask, so my best guess
would be that 7627 may well have been `blue 2`

Blue 1 is available as a paper/card model by kampflieger (available from e card models)
There are also very nice colour plates of blue 1 in Osprey`aircraft of the aces` no 88
So i guess if you can copy the front styles on the rudder and nacelle and wing numbers, you could be fairly close...
