I've got this one in the stash. I'm actually tempted to do a follow along just to see if I can achieve your results by following your methods. I built the old tool Eduard SSW D.III some years back and was amazed at what you were able to do with it compared to my results.

Work has started on this project with freeing some parts and test fitting and clean up . Nothing worth of taking photo's of this stage until I can a bit paint on stuff .

Thanks guy's , I hope I don't disappoint you folks with this one .

So work first began by freeing some of the parts . Fuselage halves were up first and the air intakes cleaned out ready for the next stage . Flying surfaces are cleaned up but I'm not sure if I want to free the control surfaces and have them positioned . The cowl needs a bit of filler and clean up finished . Engine got it's pushrod and for this I used .3mm brass rod . Not much will be seen so no further detailing will be done . Part of the cockpit is ready for new bracing . Kit parts don't fit . Wheels are also ready too go and I don't like these split wheel affair when it comes to sanding and I don't have suitable replacements in the parts bin .
