Thanks to all of you!

Did you paint the wing roundels or are they decals?
Yes I did. I didn' like the decals colors , neither the size, furthemore they were bad quality, brittle.

Where did you get the map in the cockpit?  Looks great for 1/48 scale.
I dowloaded maps at 1/35 I think in the web, and I resize them.
If you want them , it will be a pleasure to send you them bay PM

This afternoon I did the weathering of the fuselage (I restart three time...)
well that is what I did:

I used AK's aircraft engine oil diluated applied with the airbrush

next operation, the propeller...

Xan,
This is just a beautiful, amazing build. With each post it keeps getting better and better!

As to the roundels, I'm afraind when I get started, I'm going to have to start painting them eventually. I don't know why manufacturers do what they do with French roundels. Those of us that like French a/c just can't catch a break. ;)

thank you for your comment you make me blush!

well another update:

first orf all, trying the propeller , I notice the engine was too deep, so:

then, I did the engine oil beside the fuselage.
I took example with those fantastic pics coming from the SanDiego museum great!

Well I have to admit I exagered, but anyway when the model will be ended no one will try to take it in hand and reverse it  ;)

As you can see in the picture, I ended the "systeme de gauchissement" ssystem to turn the wings.
here is the original:

and then, and then ....

glory, glory alleluia!

I put the wing in its place. Ithave been quite long, but I did it!

Champagne everybody , here are the pics:

welll now, as Penelope did, I have to weave

The kit is strongly fixed in this thing I use for the first time despite I had it for a long time ago...

So let's work!

You are doing a superb job Xan, the oil staining on the fuselage is brilliant. Now comes the fun part of any WW1 build, the rigging (it's the best part for me), looking forward to seeing it fixed in place.
