Hi Jean and thanks radio!
Just be grateful it's not a triplane! ;)
you're right Bud really...
at the beginning after another loooong time masking, I was quite happy seeing the bees camouflage , thinking that Navarre could have like it...
When I took off the masks, I changed of humor...
black has passed under the mask and the general result was quite hugly...

here what it will look like more or less.

only one solution, let the models some days and all restart again...
it's not the first time I do it, as all of you surely...

but later I thought the giant roundels could give me a favor becase they go on the worst stripes...
have o look:

il I do again the red marked stripe it could be acceptable.

anyway if the result is not good , I can allway restart all the wing painting...

oh, the model...

You are doing an amazing job with the wing, looking forward to seeing it completed.

Looks awesome, Xan!  Maybe you could use black stripe decals to correct the ones you are not happy with?
Cheers,
Bud

Hello!
I went on with the fuselage:

first with the engine and the cover:

the horizontal stabilizer and the tail prop:

to end the fuselage part, I have to do:

- the rudder (wich is started as you can see in the picture)
- the roll kontrol system
- the two windschields
- the two footboards (?) I lost in the battle
-the propeller

Meanwhile, the wing came back to the beginning.

a friend of mine gave another way to do it wich will be much better...

Xan, the more I see of this build, the more I want to start mine.  Phenomenal work, my friend.
Cheers,
Bud

Thanks to all!

well it's time!

a friend of mine told me another way to paint the wing, here are the differents steps:

when I get off the stripes , I was quite satisfied with the result:

I have to micromesh the jonction between  ribs protections and fabric, so I will wait until tomorrow.
Meanwhile I wanted to try a new thing: PVC scotch:

I like the result , but perheaps I will try to make them thiner those one are 0,5mm.

a general view:

comparing with the first try:

Good result and an excellent use of off-the-hardware-store-shelf resources!

This morning work:
I could cut 0,3mm strips
here 's the result:

the problem is that I don't know if "future" or varnish will be enought to fix the strips...
this afternoon , I will try tamiya scotch cutted and painted to compare...
