Hello,

I didn't speak about bibliography:

I have the windsock datafile N°16

and the 'icare" revue:

about Jean Navarre

and other generic revue about french air force in the WWI.

In the web, Loocking for additional information, I founded some beautifull pics I would like to share with you:

first two russian parasol pics:

http://wio.ru/ww1a/parasol.htm
wonderfull pic isn't it?
a paradise for weathering lovers! infortunately Navarre's pics don't show plane as dirty  :-\

this one, in the same website is lovely too and show unusual point of view of the plane:

http://wio.ru/ww1a/parasol.htm

in the wonderfull "les as oublié de 14/18" (forgotten aces of 14/18)
this wonderfull collection of pics of the MS23 squadron (J.Lecou collection)

bomb carriage experience

the grapnel!!!
Maxime  Lenoir tell us whar was this experience at the beginning of 1916:

It was like fishing: a 60 metre wire with at the end a grapnel with dinamyte. when a ennemy plane cross the wire, at the end the grapnel hang on, and with the shock , it detonated dinamyte, so the ennemy plane had to explose...
very pretty idea but it never worked...

Parasol flying:

and the last of someone want to do a very original parasol model:
camoufled parasol experiences!

beautifull pcs isn'it?

Anyway I'm loocking for more documentation if someone have something?

I'm particulary loocking for an "écorché" (I don't know the word in English)
this kind of draw, but for a type L:

Hello Xan, maybe "stripped" or "skinned" would be the translation for "écorché". You have beautiful photos there! Merry Christmas.

Kind regards
Patrick

Hello to all and merry christmas everybody

Well i finished the intrerior , even if I'm afraid this one won't win the 2015 cockpit nobel prize .
I added the tank, the tachometer, and the cushions

the cockpit don't feed in the fuselage. I scrept it but it wasn't enough so I will glue it in several times...

I will add the upper part of the wooden fuselage when al will be in its place...

that'all for today!

the fuselage is closed, quite a big battle!

as you can see, there is work to be done if I want all that to be presentable, but nothing very hard...

Exceptional job on the interior, Xan!  I think it's a winner.

I agree with my Amigo on this one! Well done Xan! I have been thinking that if I ever try a scratch build in 1/32nd this aircraft would be a good candidate. Your work at least gives me a starting point!
