Final one for today. This is my favourite out of all my collection. Can you believe that my cat jumped on top of this when the rigging was almost done!!

And this is indeed one to be proud of! Magnificent!

As for the cat disaster, we see the model survived it, but what about the cat?  ;)

Lovely work, Andy, I just love the Taube.

And the cat? When my eyes were really sharp many years ago,  I made and painted a really nice standard on a 15mm English Civil War figure. Then one night a cat we had bit/chewed it to destruction.

Best wishes
Nigel

Excellent model of a difficult aeroplane, especially the rigging. Very good painting and interesting markings. I do like the Tauben variants.
I used to have two cats but was not building models at the time, which is probably just as well as they may have had to use all of their nine lives at once. I hope that yours survived.

You have done a superb job on this variant of the Taube, the rigging is quite complex but you pulled it off beautifully.

I am always amazed when I see those really old and seriously rigged aircraft models, especially the Taube, so we'll done. Yours is very fine indeed.

Truly Magnificent, Andy!  I love how you painted the wings to show the variations in material and density.  Brilliant!
Cheers,
