Everything that could be said has been said Des. I can only add that I'm in the process of picking my jaw up off the floor. That engine is spectacular. It really is incredible.

Cheers,

Chris

I've overcome my bout of speechlessness, and decided that since the superlatives for Des's work have long since been exhausted, I will now comment via popular song lyrics:

"That's the way, uh huh uh huh, I like it! (Uh huh uh huh)  That's the way, uh huh uh huh, I LIKE it!"

KC & the Sunshine Band, circa 1975. ;D

Cheers,

Bob

Many thanks to the following people for leaving very nice comments, they are very much appreciated.
Rick, LM, Michael, Sasho, Chris, Bob, Ondra, Flip, Alain and Pete, thank you for taking the time to visit my build log.

Just a small update. I have made and fitted all the engine/wing mounting frame work, I also made the two fuel tanks and fitted them either side of the engine, top wing will be made next.

Des, this is shaping up to be your best yet, and that's saying something!
Cheers,
Bud

Thanks Scott and Bud for your kind words. I am finding this scratch build most enjoyable, I had a ball making the engine and very pleased with the way it turned out, the book I purchased has been an absolute jewel thanks to Taras Chayka and his brilliant drawings.

I'm still trying to get my head wrapped around that beautiful
engine, Des.  The framing is amazing and I am looking forward
to the top wing mounting.  Truly wonderful!

Cheers,
Ernie :)
