Hey Des , Thumbs up !

Did you use solder on the column or just super glue ? I always wanted to try soldering . Some parts are better made with brass and easier than using plastic rod .

Thanks Terri - I used super glue on the control column but since I have had a soldering station stashed away for two years I thought I would get it out and try to solder. I did the small upright diamond shaped piece holding the engine beams and the soldering worked well, so from now on I will be doing most of the brass work using solder. I purchased some low heat soldering wire and some really good no mess no clean-up flux, so this makes the job really easy.

I'm a fan of your work and look forward to following this one.

A trial fit of the twin seat assembly. The framework around the seats is the aileron actuating mechanism, it is controlled by the pilot leaning his shoulders on the frame and pushing the frame in the direction he wishes the aircraft to turn. The two small pedals on the foot bar are the throttle pedals, one for each pilot.

Des, I took about two days to think about what to reply on the pics you have posted.

Eventually, the only words that come to my mind are: You are a master modeller and many thanks to you for sharing your WIP with us. I really admire the perfectionism and craftsmanship you are showing here.

Best

Ondra
