Hello and Happy New Year to all!
Butterflies on my desk from a collection neglected. I recovered and restored. But I've prepared myself a lot. Beetles, butterflies, bugs...
Otherwise, it's my job. I am entomologist. But I'm working on bloodsucking insects, much less beautiful!
Mainly mosquitoes, bedbugs and sandflies
A bientôt!

Hi Guys,
it is finished.
After 5 weeks renovation is now all finished. My new Workbench is now waiting on me again and finally it can go on.
The Albatros needs a little reworking and then the diorama.
Ok, here are a few photos from the room and see you soon with new photos of my models
Best regards
Jörg
PS:On one of the photos you see the "Third Hand". My first impression is very good, easy to work on the model. But this is the first impression, later I will report more

That looks like a great set up Jorg. I really like the economy you've gained with the double sided work desk, brilliant idea! Like George the floor really catches my eye, beautiful wood.
I'm pretty certain you will enjoy your new "cave"!
Cheers,

Hi,
many thanks my friends!
We are proud that the floor now looks so good. Was a tough way until then.
Here are some photos on the way there.
The beginning
The End
The steps between and the tools i have used
And sometimes it looked like, better you could not see anything
So long, and have a nice sunday
Regards
Jörg

I know all about laying timber floors, hard on the knees and dusty work.

I hope you have enough locks on the door ?!
Absolutely great workbench, this large quantity of kits and colors.
Respect!
Kindly regards

Wow, Kai, I can't imagine anything nicer, what a set up! Good on you, looks to me like you took the "get it right from the start" approach.........I am green with envy!

Hell, and I was envious of Kai's first workbench setup! Well, apart from the stool that looks more like a medieval torture device! Speaking of which, does anyone care to have some fun by proposing a name for that thing? I'm thinking "The Pile Driver"!
