Hello Andrew:

As mentioned, the weathering on the fuel tank looks real as does the wood; great affects you have achieved there.  This is on my to do list and I am looking forward to seeing you progress and how you do the paint.

Best

Andrew you have done a really good job on the wireless transmitter- those decals are tiny and it is a challenge to get them in exactly the right position as you have done.

Well done and keep up the good work!

Thanks to all for the nice comments  :D

And yes, the decals are a challenge. Is better to divide them and not apply them in a single piece, and you have to be sure to cut the transparent center form the knob decals, because they are not centered and if you don' t remove the clear center the decal will be offset from the knob.   ::)

Hi!

I've started to work on the engine.

As you can see is very well detailed right out of the box

But something is missing: the air pump in front of the case. Luckily I have a WnW Gotha in my stash and because only 1 engine will be exposed, I've taken the air pump from one of the engines sprue Tongue - :p

The engine metal parts are painted with Alclad. I've made the valves lifters from copper wire ( in the kit there's also a piece with the lifters moulded in plastic, but this is a quick and easy way to improve the engine). The main colours are on, now I have to start the weathering.

This has been a very impressive build Andrew, and the engine is no exception.  Really lovely work.
