This is a real beauty. I did the same bird as may first WW.1 plane. Especially the engine fitting was a real pain.
Your Albatros is gorgeous. The details, the staining and the scratch parts are eyecatcher but the convincing wood look tops it all.

Thanks, Wolf. I am glad that you like it.
As for the engine, the fit is easier if you use the Part PE interior structure. I have not shown it here but I did the same and showed in my earlier D.III build log -

Anyway, the engine is a little bit too small for the scale. Just to make it fit into the fuselage which even with thinned walls will be overscale in this aspect. And the same refers to the Part interior structure...
