Ondra,
I continue to be amazed at your fine work in this extremely small scale!

I too am amazed at the progress that you are making with what is an incredible build. I am looking forward to more progress, especially when you start assembly of the major parts as this will be a very interesting model.

Excellent progress Ondra, to work in such a small scale takes enormous skills.

Hello everybody, many thanks for your nice comments!

After a longer break I finally found some time to get back to the Nie XI, so here some pics. Main parts are nearly ready for painting, with some touch-ups necessary. I am not really happy with the openings in the upper wing, will see what they turn out after paint.

Beautiful! This could easily be mistaken for a larger scale!

Hello everybody,

finally I can post some progress worth mentioning here, I played around with CDL on the wings and with preshading on the fuselage and wheels, the result is not optimal, unfortunately...

Many thanks to Des for advice regarding to posting images from on-line picture storage.

Cheers

Ondra

Ondra,
Apologies for just now seeing your build. What great work!  Not only in such a small scale, but a Nieuport to boot! Really great work, sir.

Wow, that's one of the nicest cockpits I've seen, even at 3 times the size! Can't wait it see more progress.

Amazing stuff, Ondra... truly!  I'd love to learn more about how you are able work in such a tiny scale as I have a hard enough time in one 4.5 times larger.

Many thanks for your generous comments, guys, I really appreciate them a lot and they are a great encouragement for further work.

Please feel free to ask any questions, basically there are no special methods I use. As mentioned in another thread, there is nothing special to it, it is just tiny. :)

Cheers

Ondra

I built a Sopwith Pup in this scale and even though it was small it was quite enjoyable to work on, but I didn't add the level of detail you are doing here, you are doing amazing work.
