I'm looking to tonight's pictures, then Terri. There's a real kick in getting the fuselage sealed up, even if it means losing sight of some of the super work you've done.

Best wishes
Nigel

Don't know how I missed this little beauty, T!  You're off to a brilliant start.  Outstanding cockpit work.
Cheers,
Bud

Wow , thanks guy's . I'm really touched  :) The cockpit did turn out rather well and I'm not liking those per painted PE parts by Eduard . The instruments are nice though and very useful . Decals can be a pain at times .

Keith , message from Blau . She is finished yet ......

Fuselage button up , seems clean up and polished , lower lacing replaced . The kit part was broken and a missing the part that broke off . I filled this in with some scratch stock and the lacing is from Eduards PE line .

I started doing this a long time ago and found it to be a saver in time and handling . Before I would always cut the rudder free which lead to doing one side at a time . In the end this is handling it more , perfect for that extra time for a finger print or glue make even a cat hair has the chance of working it's way in there . Now I leave it attached making my life easier ! Only clean up afterwards is the same attachment point .

With folks leaving me alone this weekend I was able to get a fair bit of airbrushing down done this round at the bench .

Basically everything got a coat of white . For this I used Tamiya flat white thinned with Tamiya lacquer thinner . While this was drying the guns were assembled and sprayed black as well as the half portion of the tail feathers . Tamiya black thinned as above .

While all this was drying I mixed up a bit of purple using Tamiya paints spraying the center of the wheels . Up next was the dark green being applied to the fuselage , axle wing , out part of the wheels and all the strut's which aren't picture .

I sprayed the prop Tamiya deck tan and already has two coats of clear in prep of the wood lamination decals in the kit . I never tried using decals for this so it is more out of my own curiosity .

Pre-shading on the fuselage I did with Tamiya smoke . This is where I leave off for now while I clear coat now in prep of the lozenge decals .
