Made a start on this one the other day getting the top and lower wings glued together and that's about it so far .

Thanks guy's , I did manage to get the engine halves glued together and the axle wing and that is about it . Will have some more progress soon .

I'm just waiting for the for the release of the kind offer by Richard and Harry for this GB . Once those are in , the pace will pick up a bit more .

Hey guy's  , do to a medical mishap ( blown rotor cup , right shoulder ) I'm out of commission for a spell . I will continue when I'm able to move my arm once more , But it's not looking good . Even this is hard to type with one hand !

Thanks Guy's for your words of encouragement . I tried a bit yesterday , but it was a bit much and I paid for it later . It is what it is and I'll be back at the bench in no time .

I tried this kit as well. But following a terrible experience with very ill-fitting HGW lozenge decals (the promised replacements never shoped up, btw, but that's a different story) and my disability to get the undercarriage to fit (I am no octopus, and had always one or two hands less then needed  to hold the struts), it was binned.

You will do much better than i did.

Hi Stefan , this is a first for building Eduards kit . Having built a few of the Roden kits so far I prefer the Roden kit . Not looking forward to the under carriage struts . You aren't the only one who has had issues with HGW so I feel your pain .

Having started with the wings it was time to get out the paints and brushes and get to work ...painting up the cockpit parts and gluing up the axle wing . I used Aviattic 4 colour lozenge on the fabric bulkhead .

The wood grain was done using pencil crayons clear coat with clear yellow and the instrument panel got some highlights .
