Lucasz

Have you ever considered doing the spring catches that hold German cowls together.

I know they vary in design slightly but a generic one of several varied lengths might prove popular. It's something you often see missed on some otherwise superb builds.

Keith

Now I know what You're talking about - GREAT IDEA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Will be done soon :)

What about the interrupter gear mechanism on some German two seaters like that on the Albatros C.III nose above the propeller and starboard side.

Here  are Lukasz's latest plugs fitted. The wee washer on the end removes the need to make one on the leads and makes them comparatively easy to handle too - highly recommended :)

Thank You Justin!!!

Lukasz, how about the fuel control valve complex for german inline engines -- Albatros D.V and Fok D.VII(alb) and Fok D.VII(OAW) for sure, maybe fits others:

It will be done soon :)
Thank You Bo

Is that the tangle of valves that sits behind the Albatros lower starboard dash? If not, how about those too Lukasz?

Yeah that's what it is ;)

Also on alb and OAW built D.VIIs as best I can work out (Fokker valve seems different)

Lukasz, I know we're making a lot of requests, but I would also like to see some German oxygen sets like those used on the Gotha and some Fokker D.VII's.  I understand that 1/32 scale is more profitable, but I sure would like to see those in 1/32 and 1/48.  We have all those Hippo and AZ Gotha's out there with nothing in them.  Also, there are still a lot of us building 1/48 Fokker D.VII's that would buy them if they were available.  Thanks for all you're doing for us.
Cheers,
Bud

I agree with Bud, 1/48 scale oxygen canisters would be great, as well as a bomb rack for the Gotha if you are willing!

I think Gaspatch have 1/48th oxygen units in development now.
Really?  That would be awesome.
Thought on something else, Lukasz.  How about some nice Bosch starter magnetos in 1/48 and 1/32?
Cheers,
Bud

Whoops, no, it's Aviattic and they are 1/32. I really must research before I post!
No worries, Justin.  If Lukasz doesn't do 'em in 1/48, maybe I can talk Costas in to it. ;)
Cheers,
Bud

Great minds think alike Bud, I suggested the starting magnetos (with photos) way back on page one but I never got a response, maybe Lukasz missed my post. Before Ron teamed up with Richard I asked him to do some starting magnetos but nothing came of that either, surely they can't be that difficult to make.

Des.

Here are the two photos again just to spark their memory.

I was absent for a long time - so much work!
But I'm back. Thank You so much for suggestions. Most of this will be realized.

Currently I'm working on Fokker cowl nuts:

Almost ready - casting block prepared. But... its so small - diameter (in the thicker part) is 0.3mm. OK, it's for Bertl - he'll ménage ;D

I've started also Bentley BR2:
Cylinder base - exactly the same number of ribs as in the case of original:

crankcase:

spent about 10 days for a preparing crankcase - extremely difficult to keep geometry. Few unsuccessful attempts:

Thanks a lot, Lukasz

My vote is for a 1/32 Albatros D.V/Va spinner replacement

........................... only 0,3mm on the thicker part?  ??? ???

I have to move my model-workbench in a dust and germ free clean room.
Otherwise I can not remember these little Fokker wingnuts with small flies.   ::)

Grazy work, Lukasz!!!

I like also your Bentley-ptototyp parts.

Servus
Bertl

Thanks Bertl!
So wait for the parcel - your work is to test it. Good luck  ;D
