She looks superb Lance! I'm looking forward to seeing more images of her so hop to it. Now that you've kindled an interest in the U.S. contribution to the air war, can I tempt you into a two man GB involving the WnW Salmson 2-A2 in USAS markings? Seeing I'm between builds and liable to stray to the dark side, I could be yanked back on track. I'm game!

Cheers,

Chris

The hundred man D.VII Group Build will keep me busy enough for now Chris! I'd like to do a SPAD or two, but I think I'll wait to see if Wingnut Wings release one in future........ :-\ ::)
Cheers,
Lance

Hello Lance:

For all of your travails with this model, it certainly doesn't show it.  It is an outstanding build.  The paint, the decals and the neat wrapping of the rigging.  The cowling decals are challenging and you got them on evenly spaced.  One of my favorites.

Hi Chris:

I have a WNW Salmson on the shelf with a nice PHEON Decal earmarked for the kit that I could be coerced into doing, once I get this Fokker E.IV wrapped up.  Are you game for a tag team?  We could compare notes along the way and see how we are doing, encourage etc.

Best

Just catching up again Lance. Great finish to this project and a smart piece of engineering for the wire covering. That's a keeper!!!

Thanks for checking in and for your comments Gary. It is a pretty little airframe and certainly has added a bit of colour to the display case.
Cheers,
Lance

Thanks again for your comments Guys. I believe I may tackle another Roden Kit in the near future (SSW D III perhaps) but I need to relax with a reasonably smooth WNW Build or two first!
Cheers,
Lance
