Pfalz D.IIIa 1/48 scale

Here is another Eduards Pfalz D.IIIa based on one of the WNW schemes from their decal sheet . Built out of the box with a few details added to the pit and engine . The personal markings I made out Tamiya masking tape . Lozenge id Doug Baumann's and I didn't have the issue Ian has had with his Hannover build . I can say they aren't sol friendly and care must be used when using sol .

Beautiful Pfalz, Terri. I'm wondering what paint did you use for
the blue? I think you really nailed the colour. Thanks for posting.
Cheers,

Wow this one is gorgeous. It's Hans Bohning's aircraft if I'm right. It's one of my favorites with 2 others: Berthold's one and von der Marwitz's. The shading on lozenges is great.

Wow, Terri...beautiful Pfalz! I must agree that after the Albatri, the SSW and the Pfalz are such cool machines. You certainly did this one justice.
Well done...
