Finished - latest Elan13 RFC pilot
« on: June 11, 2014, 10:23:35 PM »
Hey all,
This is my version of the Elan13 RFC Cricketer. Converted to AFC by changing the rank insignia and some other small details. The head is one from Hornet.
I really like this piece and I think he would look good without the bat, leaning on an aircraft. (The vest could be something knitted by Mum to keep her boy warm up there.)

Cheers,
Carpo
The air force will always need technicians because pilots need heroes too.

That is a beauty! Interesting /unusual pose. Should add some life to a diorama!

Extremely well painted Paul, this is an unusual subject but very fitting for WW1 airfields, I like what is used for the stumps....
