Thanks Garry.  Ena's still in hospital after a second operation and they are keeping her under observation following some complications. I manage to get to the hospital for  morning, afternoon and evening visits but it's all very wearing.

Best wishes
Nigel

It can be very tiring visiting three times a day but you being there with Ena will assist her in her healing process, nothing is more comforting than having loved ones near by. I hope that the complications that Ena has experienced do not amount to anything serious and that the medical staff get on top of it very quickly, please pass on my best wishes to Ena, and also my best wishes to you Nigel for supporting your wife so well, I hope it doesn't have an impact on your health and well being, take care of yoursdelf so you can take care of Ena.

Thank you Bob. We see the surgeon again tomorrow and hope he says Ena can come out until such time as she has to return , have the cast removed, all the stitches out and another cast put on.

Best wishes
Nigel

Hello Nigel,

I sincerely hope that you will have good news tomorrow when the surgeon passes by. With the summer in view I hope you both can soon go out again. Best wishes and a lot of courage my friend.

Kind regards
Patrick

Thank you Patrick. The hospital have started her on crutches and the local pharmacy is lending us a wheelchair for when she comes out. Unfortunately the short break in Barcelona lined up for Ena's birthday at the beginning of May has had to be banged on the head. Maybe later in the year.

Best wishes

Hello Nigel,

Barcelona will still be there later in the year my friend. The most important thing now is that Ena recovers well and with you as her nurse I'm sure she will!

Kind regards
Patrick

Dear Patrick and Mike

Thanks again for your kindness. We're now looking to release from hospital on Thursday at the earliest - it depends on how things are clearing up.

Best wishes
Nigel
