Getting the plaster off is a major leap forward. It means the road to recovery has really begun. Hope it all continues to go well.

Great news Nigel, and the Grandchild factor also brings Ena's ordeal closer to a thing of the past. Good luck on both adventures!
Cheers,
Lance

Dear Ernie, Lindsay, Steve, Ken and Lance

Both Ena and I really appreciate your kindness and best wishes. It will take time, but as you have said, this is an important stage on the road to recovery. Right then Lindsay, no triple jumping in the near future, but maybe the high jump and pole vault will help get us there.

One of the things that Ena has said is that being wheelchair bound for all those weeks gave her a much better appreciation of the difficulties faced by those with a mobility disability. For my part it has sharpened my lamentably weak house and garden keeping skills. I've also learned a lot about getting around a city, Limoges, built on a hill and just how awkward it can be getting a wheelchair into and out of a Peugeot 207!

Best wishes
Nigel
