O my Des, this baby is alive and growing fast. As Andy said everything seems easy coming of your skilfull hands. I am really speechless because there are no words for this.

Kind regards

Well I'm stunned Des.

Could you please, please, convince Ron or some other Master caster to do the early aviation genre as kits, in resin, 1/32 scale, all your previous scratch builds and,  hmmm, I'll put something in your Christmas stocking.

Just very exciting, I'm with Ssasho0, got my popcorn and a front row seat.

Des,
You mentioned searching for white O Rings to replace the black supplied with the Spoked Wheels; I had great results airbrushing them with enamel (Model Master) for my present Pfalz Build. Since the black ones would be basically "throw-aways" you might want to consider giving it a try as I suspect white O Rings of the correct size might be hard to come by.
Looking magnificent as usual, and as SsashoO said, "it's only the undercarriage"!
Cheers,
Lance

Awesome start, Des!  The wood looks fantastic.  Can't beat the real thing.

I'd be worried about the paint on the o-rings cracking over time as it (the paint) ages and shrinks...   :o

Me too Bo, however I reasoned that I can always fall back to the Kit tires.........  If and when the dreaded cracks appear I'll "fessup"! (though not an option for Des)
Cheers,
Lance

Oh my goodness me, Des, you have another great piece of work under way. What strikes me so much is your sense of vision - knowing how to break things down into logical stages and sequences. I can't wait to see this one progress.

Best wishes
Nigel

your best.  I will be avidly following along.  Beautiful work, my friend.
