Well done and then some Rick, a beautiful "Trio of Tripes"! Again, kudos on your patience and perseverance after the obstacles you encountered; most would have just left the wreck on the floor and walked away never to return! Most impressive and some beautiful work.
Cheers,
Lance

Thanks Lance. I appreciate your comments! In reality it was the Members of this Forum that picked that Model up and moved Me forward with the builds  ;)

I almost forgot to add this one to the display here. The new Meng ("Mengnut Wings") Kit with A/M Photo Etch details, Master Spandaus, hand laminated and carved wood prop, and decals from Cutting Edge. Lothar von Richthofen's 454/17 from Jasta 11.

Following in RAGIII's slipstream I'm now working on another "Tripe" in the all red 425/17 Red Baron scheme.

Cheers,
Lance

Just catching up. Great Fokkers Rick and Lance!! An interesting comparison of decal streaking vs hand painting. Both look great and each have their challenges. Super impressed Rick that you can get free hand painted streaking so well controlled and spot on.

Here's my just completed 1:32 Roden Fokker DR.1. It's done as Manfred von Richthofen's 425/17, the aircraft he was fatally shot down in. The Build Log can be found at

https://forum.ww1aircraftmodels.com/index.php?topic=11857.0

The Kit was done with Decals from the Meng/Wingnut Wings release, Master Spandau guns and the Eduard PE Set for this model. As well it has a hand laminated and carved Axial Propeller.
This as a good solid Kit, it builds well and has no major short comings. It's the second one I've completed.

...... and now I have three!

The one on the right is also from the Roden Kit, the Baron's 152/17, one of his "Spares". The third is his Brother Lothar's 454/17.
Cheers,
Lance

Fantastic results on a classic aircraft Lance. Your paint work is Beautiful. The Roden kit is indeed a kit well worth building!
