Glad you all enjoyed the interlude. Moose are lovely to watch and normally very docile however can be unpredictable, particularly during their mating season or in caring for the safety of their young. I've seen these two siblings often this winter, they appear to be bedding in a frozen swampy area towards the far end of my acreage. Although I've had young cows in this close I've never had a bull or two this close to the house, really neat! This horribly severe winter hasn't bothered these boys, they are fat, shiny, and no evidence of disease or ticks is apparent.
