You will not be surprised to learn I have  great affection for the colonies  ;). Without the help and sacrifice of your respective countries Great Britain would of struggled to keep her head about the  parapet during both world wars. Bless you one and all!

Lance,
Prez got an upgrade based on the size of his order  :o No favouritism, just reality!

Your so right Bob, I would also like to express my gratitude towards all these countries who were fighting over here.
Sorry Przemo I didn't want to disturb your thread. So sorry.

Kind regards
Patrick

First of all - thank you all for your kind words on my CDL efforts.

Secondly, I have ordered a modest amount of 340 eyeleys and 370 tubes. I do not know why they had to fit in a container ship, not a usual envelope. Probably the shipping costs are the reason  ;) Ask Mr. von Buckle!

And thirdly, my recent order which has caused such an uproar, has nothing to do with this build. These bits are destined for DH.9, Salmson and Roland... My future builds planned for this year.

Your choice of CDL is absolutely perfect Prze, and the wing shading is excellent.

Thank you, Des!

The CDL is perfect; what did you use or is it your own formula?

Lance, the base colour is Pactra A123 Mid Stone, then postshading using a mix of clear gloss and a drop of Vallejo Beige Brown.

Thanks Prze, I figured it was a mix. You certainly "nailed" it.

Prze, as Des and Lance said, the CDL looks really good.  I like your planned builds for this year, I look forward to following them.  Now I understand why you needed so many eyelettes and tubes!  :)

Careful, mate, you may push your tongue through that cheek.   :)  BTW, I apologise for the reporting of the last Ashes series in the media here.  Our media thinks "restraint" only refers to out-of-office recreational activities and has nothing to do with styles of reporting.

Cheers.

So, let us return to the point. Works on this model are progressing. PC10 on the wings upper sides on and shaded.

The wings look wonderful, Prze.  Did you use a green mixture as well for
the PC-10?  Very enjoyable build, my friend.

Cheers,
Ernie :)

Thanks, gentlemen.
"My" PC10 is Pactra A30, for shading I use clear gloss with a drop or two of black added.

Once again, your painting skills are astonishing. Both CDL and your interpretation of PC10 look very very convincing.
It's a pleasure just to be looking at your modelling skills.
