She's absolutely "top drawer" Dal. As you know you inspired me to search out a Kit and a bunch of A/M stuff to do one in the near future, seeing this again draws that project closer!
Cheers,
Lance

Hello Dal:

Great job on the 28.  I like the "wrapping" on the riggin, nicely done and to good effect.  I also like the scheme you chose.  I know it very popular, but for good reason.  This is one of Roden's better offerings and you did a great job on it.  Hopefully we will see more here as well.

Best

Very nice collection of Nieuport 28's.  I will add an oldie but goodie, this is the Aurora /KB boxing from around 1972?  It is one of my first WW1 models built in the early 1990's, and my first attempt to add detail, I scratch built the interior, and added an Aeroclub Gnome engine and guns.  Decals were from the kit but the posters on the wings were added later from a Lone Star decal set. Shows how far the hobby has come in the last 20 years or so.

Nice work Mark, Dal, Patrick and Dave. More very nice 28's!
Dal, that slatted rigging is incredible!
Good to see that Lone Star got the posters correct (at least according to Datafile information) in that upper and lower wing posters were both full sized. The old Revell 1:72 kit has the lower wing one as half size, which was correct for Jimmy Meissner's machine.

Here's my Nieuport 28, based on the old 1/72 Revell kit, with some extensive modifications.

Dave,
As I have said I really enjoy seeing these OLD kits built to such Beautiful Standards! Well done!!
Brad, This is perhaps the finest 1/72nd Nieuport 28 I have ever seen built. Your correction work, additions, and as always your painting are superb!
