Hi Bud,

I said it before, your model is so beautifull and inspiring. There is an explosion of such fantastic completed models and yours is certainly one of a very talented modeler. It makes me very humble. Many congratulations.

Kind regards
Patrick

Can I join in the congratulations too - and in thirty days!!! How do you do it? Wonderful paint scheme and finish - a real work of art and I do not think overdone either.

Just looking at the final pictures again, Bud.  Just amazing work.  You really have
outdone your self with this one.  It is absolutely beautiful.  I think I would tend
to do as you mentioned and preshade  before the lozenge. I'm already looking
forward to your next build-log.  Thanks for sharing your artistry, Bud.

Cheers,
Ernie :)

Being a Canuck I'm partial to the red and white scheme, but even if it were sea foam green and electric purple it would turn out fantastic in your hands, Bud! Great looking bird, and another clean, top-notch build as we've come to expect from you. Beautiful.

Beautiful work, Bud, and a spectacular colour scheme. I did an old Aurora / Monogram one in close to this scheme some time back when I was still doing 1:48 Scale, it's definitely still one of my favorites. Guess I may have to reconsider the "plan" for my DVII's as the Jasta 18 colours you've done so well really are tempting...... :-\
Cheers,
Lance

Thank you so much, gentlemen!  Lance, I'd love to see you do a WNW Fokker in this scheme.  I'll bet it would look even better in 1/32 scale.  I believe Rowan has scaled this sheet up for the WNW kit. ;)
Cheers,
Bud

Awesome.

The scheme itself it's already quite appealing with the red and white but you took it even further with the shading work.

Very nice model indeed. Congrats.

Cheers

Thanks, Paulo!  I'm beginning to like the scheme, myself. ;)  Might have to do a Pfalz D.IIIa in Muller's markings.  Maybe even Monington's Albatros.  Could end up looking like a candy cane around here.
Cheers,
Bud

Well Bud:  Christmas isn't too far off!  You could pull off the Albatros and have a unique set of ornaments for the tree!  ;)  Very tempting to do this in 1/32nd!  Very tempting indeed!

Best

Boy, I wish I could finish an albatros by Christmas, Mark!  They would look cool hanging from the tree together.  Nothing says, "Merry Christmas!" like skull and cross-bones.
Cheers,
Bud
