This is the third Sopwith Snipe reproduction built by The Vintage Aviator Ltd. It is finished in the markings of F2367 "1-2", B flight 70 Sqn, Bickendorf, March-April 1919, which is one of markings provided by Wingnut Wings in their 'late' version of the Snipe. It had its public debut last Saturday at the Remembrance Day airshow at Hood Aerodrome, Masterton, New Zealand.

James,
Thanks again for the great pics. I initially wasn't a fan of this plane but after seeing your wonderful and detailed pics I'm liking it more and more. Thanks again.

Went back to Hood Aerodrome yesterday to get some photos of the Hanriot but also to get some more close ups of the Snipe.

This shot was taken through the footstep aperture:

Just so helpful! Thanks James.

I wasn't planning on a WnW Snipe, but now I have such a dilemma - just don't tell the bank.

Best wishes
Nigel

Your photography always impresses me. Do they let you climb inside and all around to get some of those shots? Amazing.

Hey, on those last two shots of the engine and prop, is that a sprouted dandelion seed stuck on the engine hub?  ;D
