Neat idea and looks the part. To me it looks a tad overscale, but I like the effect. I think once buttoned up, it will look terrific.

Belatedly, that's a lovely instrument panel on your Snipe.

One of the things with this great forum is that it keeps challenging my assumptions and pre-conceptions. I had decided in the grand scale of things that maybe I would give the Snipe a miss. You may be about to change my mind.

Great idea on the Squashed sprue! I once went as far as sanding sprue to an airfoil and then stretching. Only worked for very small runs $:-\$

PS: Never had any luck stretching the pre made Airfoil strips 0f plastic

Thanks lads . . .I scaled the interior aerfoil bracing and it comes
out at about 0.2mm, and I think it wouldnt be a sin to have it at 0.3mm
just to see it, so I am going for it.

I just re-read this Thread, I think I made the wrong assumption on your bracing wires as it appears you've used "squashed sprues"? I had taken them as small runs of the RB Productions wire............. gave me the idea to try to use it for the same purpose. Either way she's looking like another great Build!

I tend to try and make my own than buy it Lance.
If push comes to shove, then I would. I like the wee
challenge of trying. It doesnt always work, but it a bit
