Kreston,
It was great seeing you at the Chicago Show and it is still hard to believe that this is your first WWI aircraft since playing with those good ol' Aurora kits when you were a kid. The color harmany you have working across the color scheme, groundwork, and pilot are superb. What I didn't have a chance to discuss with you at the show and what really stands out is what you did with the pilot and his scarf. The blue you chose for the scarf does a number of things very special. It makes the pilot just jump right out at you in the diorama, very important when he is easily outshaded by the excellent aircraft. What I can add here that isn't done justice in the photos in that the color selection and shading you did on the scarf gave it a true delicate nature to represent the delicate nature of the materials used in an aviator's scarf and gave it that depth that would be very difficult to represent for the numerous wraps of scarf around the pilot's neck. Outstanding work and I cannot wait to see number 2, right after you finish that pair of Fusiler WWI pilots you started. Last but not least, congratulations on your Gold Medal for the WWI German Stormtrooper at the Chicago Show!
See you in Atlanta?
