Looks absolutely lovely, RAGIII -

Your yellow shading looks spot on and looks sharp with some decals on.   Getting closer to the finishing line?

Regards

Dave

Dave, thanks for your comment! Yes very close in some ways. I just need to get the wings decalled and attached. After the interior and Fuselage are done on this kit there really is not much left to do! I have painted the prop and will get the landing gear and axle wing done in the next couple of days.... hopefully
RAGIII

She's looking absolutely gorgeous Rick, the yellow colour is superb and with just a hint of the lozenge showing through is brilliant, this is shaping up to be a real show stopper.

Des.

Des,
Thank you very much! As always any compliment from a Modeler of your caliber is an incentive to keep going and try to excel!

First, Thanks for the positive feedback on the build! It is greatly appreciated!! Second, yes, there seems to have been a disruption in the white balance! I have no Idea WHY? I am re-posting another photo taken in the same session as those that showed the white back ground as grey, white and had a blue fuzzy haze on the edge of the model. It seems this one is OK?
Has color intensity and the back ground is white, go figure

The photo looks great, Rick, as does the model.  I cant wait to see the wings on her.
Cheers,

Thanks Bud! I am looking forward to the next update on your excellent DVII build! Here is a small update for mine. As No known photos exist showing the prop on this bird I plan to paint both options supplied and then choose the best. Here is the first:

Hi Rick,

Glad your camera problems are over. What a beautiful propeller you made! It certainly matches the whole build you made. Really awesome. Many congratulations!

Kind regards
Patrick

Hi Rick, regarding your white balance woes -- digital cameras can be pretty awful at guessing what temperature the lighting is in AWB (auto white balance) mode -- as you have discovered.

If you can manually override AWB on your camera, do so, otherwise you need to trick the camera into using a neutral reference for the WB.

This tutorial might help...

Bo,
Thanks for the Link! Between the info in the Tutorial and reading a little of my Camera Booklet, I think I have hit on a setting,( Cloudy).

The first photo was on the Florescent setting:

The second on the cloudy setting:
