Just a super job, Rick. She's looking really good...a very eye-catching
paint scheme.  I've certainly enjoyed your informative build and look
forward to the final bits.  Sweet little aeroplane! 8)

Cheers,
Ernie :)

What a lovely piece of work Rick! It's a pleasure to view.

I always struggle with the colour yellow, outside certain-well defined shades such as that used by the RAF in WWII for leading edges, but you have done a magnificent job here.

Best wishes
Nigel

Gorgeous, Rick!  Almost finished.  What a show stopper she's turning out to be.
Cheers,
Bud

Ian,
Thanks for your compliment! I have progressed a bit in that I have started the MINOR rigging and attatched the tailplane struts. Could be done in a couple of days  8)

Like you Rick I get a lot of encouragement from the members which gives me the incentive to keep going.  What you have done with your Fokker is amazing, the colours are so appealing and eye catching, I look forward to seeing the rigging fitted and the model completed, this is a real stunner.

Thats really looking great - as with the others I agree that the yellow is perfect with just the slight amount of lozenge showing through

Looking great Rick.

A little encouragement it's very few compared to the joy i get when seeing what many of our fellow modelers can achieve... and your model it's a very fine example of that. Model on.

OK, I know I said I wouldn't post any further pics here but.... I was doing some final work and the fuselage cracked behind the cockpit. I NEED some Mister Kit Jasta 10 Yellow to touch up the repair! Before I post in Completed Models I don't want the odd looking patch seen in the accompanying photos.

Sorry to hear about the mishap Rick, but I am sure you will resolve this to your satisfaction.

This is an affliction I experience with almost every model - in making the final touches something breaks or goes wrong.  This is why I wind up weathering when I hadn't planned to - hides a multitude of sins.  Sometimes I decide to live with it - a slightly skew wing or undercarriage geometry may not be ideal but it is better to have a 90% "almost" model than a 100% broken one!  I am not that good at getting it right first time.

Is this to be part of a diorama?  If so, you could drape a map, or the pilot's coat etc over the area of concern?

However only you will know when you are happy with the build.  Despite this minor setback, you still have an outstanding model there Rick...
