Yes. It was a difficult choice, but it's the more colourful so it won out in the end :)

The little Nieuport is coming along beautifully Jessie, it's great to see a build of this lovely aeroplane on the forum, looking forward to your next updates.

Nice work. I just bought one of these kits on Ebay. I'll be following your project as kind of a build review.

Hi Jessie. Nice Ni you're building there.

I enjoy Ni's very much... don't know why.

Cheers

Jessie,
Sorry about the late comment, I actually though I had done so earlier  :-[  Your interior came out nicely and you are certainly making great progress! I am looking forward to seeing more!

A wee bit more done

The paint is pooling between the ribs; I guess I made it a trifle too thin. I'll have to give the model a rub down with a scotchbrite pad and then a gentle repaint.

What primer did you use and how well does a scotchbrite pad smooth paint?

I used Badger Modelflex grey primer, then painted with Tamiya deck tan. I think that I may have over-thinned the deck tan a trifle. Scotchbrite pads smooth down chalky paint deposits without the harshness of sanding. I think that's all I'll need.

Good progress, Jessie.  Thanks for the tip about the Scotchbrite.  That
can be useful.

Cheers,
Ernie :)

My attempt at freehanding the camouflage could have gone better. Next I try masking...
