It looks really really good! You` ve managed to get the best out of this kit. I like your work very much. It is really hard to write something original since all has been said in the previous posts by other fellas.  ;)
Best regards

Looking superb Ernie, love the colours you have used on the fuselage and wings, she is going to be stunning when completed.

Thanks fellows, for looking in and the lovely comments.  I made a fair bit
of progress today.  Tail done except for the stabilizer braces and most of
the GasPatch turnbuckles in place.  Here's a couple of quick shots to give you an
idea what I've been up to.

Thanks again for looking.

Cheers,
Ernie :)

I think the silver looks spot on..

Thanks for the encouragement Guy and Rick. It's good to find the model
is coming together a little quicker now.  I can almost see the light at the
end of the tunnel. ;) ;D

Ernie thank you for reminding me what a lovely little aircraft the Ni-17 is when well built.

Best wishes

Ernie, beautiful progresses so far. I love following this build, it's a source of inspiration because I have the same kit.

Very nice update Ernie. I love the tail of your Ni.

Great rigging and weathering. Don't forget to paint the "front protective cushion"(?  :P) part of cockpit before instaling the upper wing  :-X.

Cheers

Rob, Nigel, Antonio and Zabu, thanks for your kind words. Considering the talent
you fellows have, they are heart warming indeed.  And Zabu, thanks for the reminder.
Many times I remember to do things when it is much harder to get to! :-[ ;D

You are making a good job of this kit! The silver is convincing, and I like the shading. How do you like the G/P turnbuckles?
