Thanks for sharing your beautiful work Nigel.  The streaking on the Dr.1 is spot on, and really impressive for 1/48.  The Noop is immaculatley finished, and I really enjoy Nungesser's scheme.  The Typhoon is a real added bonus, an aircraft I really like, and beautifully finished.  Great modeling!  Good luck with the new school year. :D

Regards,

Bob

Thank you Bob and Quentin

In juxtaposing aircraft in this way I could have chosen one of the very few other World War II aircraft in a fit state from my limited collection - a Tamiya Spitfire Mk1, but I love the late-war Hawker aircraft. I sometimes wonder if the greats of World War I have more in common with the early aircraft of World War II than the latter had with those in the skies in 1945.

Thank you also for the good wishes Bob. My lot in life is to work from my computer with students scattered around the world. The downside is that no matter what time of day it is here in France there are always some of them awake, sending messages etc and awaiting a response.

Best wishes
Nigel
