COYOTEMAGIC,

What is would your jacket color be? I'd like to sew my "BABY DOLL" logo on to a jacket. I had thought of putting the green white gold stripes of Irerland in the shield of the background ( my heritage), but I'm from the USA. I couldn't deside, so I left it blank for now.
 Thanks.

LCARROLL,

Thanks for reading my profile. Tell me 'bout it! This is a great place for resources, and I have a hunch that if I run into trouble with my build, I just need to ask someone for info. Really Thanks

Rich, the Irish flag would work for me (my heritage, as well)!  But I think something relating to WWI aviation would be more representative of our sub-culture. ;)
Cheers,
Bud

VON BUCKLE,

The famous BOB's... Thanks for reading my profile. I have seen that you have quite the influance with the builders of scratch built turnbuckles. However I think I'll be using Gas Patch turnbuckles tho, Sorry. Thanks!

BUD,

I ran across a site somewhere that said that the IRISH also had fighter planes in the great war. Something I need to research more.

BO MONROE,

From Wisconsin. Thanks for reading my intro. What kind of art director of sorts were you? Let me know what you are building!

i ran my own web & graphic design studio, which morphed into running the web department at small ad agency, after which I struck out on my own doing mobile and web application development, which I continue to do. I'm equal parts programmer & designer I guess. I studied fine arts in school. (painting sculpture etc.). I am building an Albatros. There's a small build log here. Only 52 pages. Light reading.  ;)

Looking forward to seeing your Gotha progress.

BO,

I found your build report befor I started to intro my self here. This is one of the builds that really got me interested in this site. You guys are really great at technique and research.

The art dept. I worked in was totally old school when I started. Pen and Ink drawing by hand, and then into the dark room for pictures on an Argile-18 upright camera, and Kodak cems. Oh the fumes...I miss 'em. By the time I got out of the business I was working on a Mac with Illustrator/Photoshop.

My wife has been pushing me latley to get back into it tho. The cost is outragiuos tho. I'd have to start with new equipment and schooling to get cought up. We'll see tho, I have plenty of time anyway. Thanks

ZABU,

ZEPPLIN-STAAKEN, really?. I just love these giant lumbering beasts of the great war! To bad there isn't one of these in the works.  Thanks

Yes... i love them too because of their size. I have one R.VI to build... so we'll have one in the works someday  ;).

Cheers

ZABU,

Where are you from? Ya know I also like to see some more 1/32 scale bombers. Blackburn Kangaroo or a Russian Ilya Mourometz maybe. I know most model builders are into fighters. I think us bomber guys are a little different somehow.
