Hey!  I nearly forgot!  I have a few of these.
First, a Roden 1/48 early OAW.

Then, an Eduard 1/48 OAW late.

Finally, an early Fokker, 1/48 Roden.

Cheers,
Bud

Hello, Bud -

Great to see these again - and what a good addition to this topic.

All three are superb, but my favourite has to be the OAW early as I just love the red and white colours together.

Regards

Dave

Thanks, Dave!  That one may still be my favorite as well.  I'm planning an Albatros D.Va in the same markings.
Cheers,
Bud

Great to see all of those little Fokkers together! As for a favorite I am torn between the OAW Late and the Fokker early. I just LOVE both schemes and you NAILED them Amigo!

Absolutely spectacular Bud, the early OAW wearing the red and white is my favorite  :)

Thanks, Rick and Des!  Ian, I love this one!  I'm enamored with the 4 color fuselage and the 5 color wings.  The blue nose and yellow markings really set it off.  Your weathering and shading are fantastic, by the way.
Cheers,
Bud

Thanks Bud, Ed.. I can still see where I could have built this model better, but I was pleased with how the brown glaze on the lozenge worked out.  By default I was able to highlight the fuselage structure and give an impression of fabric and some weathering..

Before joining this forum I was unaware of how popular the DVII was, and there are some excellent examples on here!

Ian,

Great one, mate - another striking scheme as well.  I agree that your brown glaze looks good.  How did you achieve this look?

Here are a few more, all 1/48 scale.
The first is an old DML/Dragon kit with a Rosemont resin replacement early nose.  It is painted as Bruno Loerzer's Fok. D.VII.

Dave, I remember these from the list gallery.  They are gorgeous.  I especially like "Lo".  What lozenge did you use?
Cheers,
Bud
