Okay, here is another pair of my Aurora Fokker VII's.  One is the Carl Bolle Scheme based on the Squadron In Action Fokker DVII.

And the Seven Swabians using the "Aeroscale" sheet, I think that's what it was.  Just fun builds at least 6 or 7 years ago.

Enjoy.

Gorgeous work on the D.VII's fellows.  It's really enjoyable to see excellently
constructed models such as these.  Thanks for showing your little gems!

Cheers,
Ernie :)

Another of my "back in the day" 1:48 Builds from about 12 years ago. The old Aurora Kit (those were the days!) which I'd dragged around in the stash box for years. Eduard PE cowling panels with the louvers opened up and the extra cooling openings carved in the upper cowlings, Super Scale, I think, lozenge, and my first attempt at a hand carved prop which is pretty rough. I chose the scheme because I liked the contrasts of the stark red and white with lozenge on the bottom wing. I still have the box somewhere, and the Plan Sheet; not even close to the WNW Plan Books of today!

Posting on these "Show Us" Threads sure brings back some great memories. Come on Guys, there's got to be some real gems out there............. 8)
Cheers,
Lance

Hi Lance:

You sure did that kit justice.  It just proves that they weren't that bad.  With a little TLC they made up into a decent model.  One of our club members redid the Aurora Albatros two seater, (can't think of the designation) did a magnificent job.  He said the overall shape was pretty good, just the goodies were in need of updating, engine, guns, interior.

Thanks for showing.

Best

Jacek,
That is a magnificent Fokker! Lovely work all around.

Mark and Lance,
Again it is great to see these older Models built and painted to high standards. It is hard to believe that there was once a time when ALL of my WW1 builds were planned around Aurora and Lindberg! Very nice work and thanks for sharing!

Udet's Du Doch Nicht with black stripes instead of red.  Roden's 1/48 kit.

Drew,
Nicely done DVII! Everything about the build looks great! I especially like those leaders streamers  :) :) The small things do make a difference!
