Thanks  ;)

Maybe this will help a little bit with the figure:

Thanks Filip, that's very helpful.

It's inspired me to do a bit more digging on google and I came up with this:

"The insignia on the sleeve indicates that he was a member of Kampfstaffel 6 (Kasta 6) of Kampfgeschwader I Obersten Heeres Leitung (Kagohl 1). A pilots badge is absent from his tunic, or possibly obscured by this arm. He was certainly part of a bomber crew."

What did people do before the Internet! ???

Ps

Any ideas on the colours of the badge?

Ps

Any ideas on the colours of the badge?

Gooing by other figures from Martin Hille/Kellerkind, and looking at the red Eagle on the shoulder I would go with white badge/red letter/number.

That looks like a dress, or parade uniform, judging from the fancy cuffs, and piping at the collar.

That Albie is a beautiful bit of work, Guy.  The figure looks good as well, it will be an interesting paint job.  Sorry, no idea about the uniform details.

Guy,
I've never done a figure however to my eye this one looks excellent, great detail and the shading/contrast makes it very convincing. It should nicely compliment your spectacular Albie, great work all round!
Cheers,

I must say that the figure looks great! DO NOT STRIP IT! You have done extremely well on the figure and posed with your excellent Albie this is a WINNER!

Guy you should be proud of yourself.  You have done a superb job on the
figure.  If I could do even close to that I would be truly pleased!
Well done, my friend!

Thank you ;)

It's just that when you see the figures of the experts - I just can't see how they get such an amazing finish  ??? The detail on such a small canvas is incredible.. Oh well..

I enjoyed the diversion anyhow.

Spandaus & lozenge to come..
