Yes Nigel, you can see the build log here:

It was truly a learning experience.

Thanks everyone for the very kind comments.  They are greatly appreciated.  I learned a great deal from this project, and am very happy with the model.  ;D

Cheers,

Bob

Hello Bob:

I am just now catching up on this one.  I followed this all through the build stages and now, what a magnificent model.  Your workmanship is truly outstanding as is the build.  The updated photo's really highlight and enhance the model.  An outstanding example of the modelers art.

Best

Mark

Since I was snapping lots of pics over the weekend, I decided to add some from this build from back in 2013.  The original photos of the model on this thread were not very good quality.  The link for the build log can be found earlier in this thread if anyone is interested.  I've always enjoyed the graceful, elegant lines of the Lloyd's bird-like design and the beauty of the mahogany veneer. I also really like the Austrian Maltese crosses from this period.

A comparison with the Berg D.I, showing the size difference.  The Lloyd was actually quite small for a 2-seater, while the Berg was fairly compact for a pursuit plane.  Two Austrian originals!

I hope you enjoyed this trip down memory lane as much as I did!

Best regards,

Bob

I remember that build.  The new photos are great and that landscape background adds so much to the images.  Thanks for posting again, Lloyd is still stunning after these seven years.
