Jacek, I think if you are out to duplicate the Wingnuts  depiction, it could be a little
more motley. However if you are happy with your efforts, that is what counts.  I tend
to think you have it pretty well done.  Good work, my friend!

Cheers,
Ernie :)

Test piecing on "dryly". My impression is that the engine cover sheet will not really want fit in  ???

Man, it looks good, Jacek.  I've not built an Albatros yet.  Is the engine cover too thick?
You are making great progress, Jacek.

Cheers,
Ernie :)

Is the engine cover too thick?

Fact that a little too thick, but also are based too tightly on the engine.

That is why I gave up fitting these covers to my Albie. They just lie aside the model...

I decided to do himself turnbuckle:

This is a prototype of what you think about it?
I have one more question, how long have turnbuckles GasPatch ?

Very nice turnbuckles, Jacek.  I took a quick measurement of a Gaspatch
turnbuckle and it showed about 8mm.  Hope that helps!

Cheers,
Ernie :)

I think you`ve just turned out to be the turnbuckle master! It looks great indeed, and I think you should put it into the mass production.
Best regards

After completing dozen or so pieces turnbuckles, I found them to be too thick  :( I started making new  :D

A. the old version,   tubes 0.9 and 0.6mm
B. the new version, tubes 0.8 and 0.5 mm

I installed the handles in the upper wing:

I slowly assembles the pieces together:

I am very pleased decal responds well to softeners  ;D
