I have tried this invention. The first time I'm doing this so I'm not sure of the effect

It will take a bit of time painting all panels.

The woodgrain looks a bit heavy, Jacek.  This is just my first impression as
I've never used something like that. How did you find it as far as ease of use goes?
I will be very interested to see when you have the fuselage all done.  Do you
put a coating over it when it is applied?

Cheers,
Ernie :)

It certainly requires some toning down. But IMO a few coats of clear orange should be fine.

Pretty cool idea, but to my eye, the grain is too pronounced. I'll be interested in how you complete this aspect.

I think so too.

In the worst case I have to wash the whole fuselage  :'(

Jacek, keep in mind the wood grain on the panels will always be in the same direction on the D.V -- parallel to the airflow. This is because the plywood was three ply and much easier to bend in one direction hen the other.

Cheers.

Thank you for suggesting.

The stencil is a cool idea. I am interested to see how it looks after your overcoats!

I'm watching the use of the RB Stencils with interest; although I have them I have not yet had the opportunity to try them. Looking good so far!

The fuselage is slowly painted.
I fixed bottom surfaces....

.....and added green color on the upper surfaces.

Your shading is great, Jacek!  I was wondering if I had to do anything with a
multiple colour camouflage scheme and you answered my questions with your
photos, so thank you so much.  Keep up the good work on the Alby. :)

Ernie :)

Hi Jacek

When I see work of this quality it makes me wish that I was about 30-40 years younger so that I could try and put into practice the great things I see and build the models I'd never previously considered.

Best wishes
Nigel
