Here is my latest update. I received Rons beautiful Resin Seat. I don't know if it is due to my assembly of the interior or another issue but the seat would not fit in my Pre Assembled interior framework. My E Mail was down due to my PC issues and I kind of gave up on Rons seat. I started a 3 hour process of trying to modify the kit seat to the "Peach Basket" style. My far less than satisfactory results are shown in the first 2 pictures. On the Plus side this effort was a learning experience and I could SEE, and more importantly "Feel", Yes I am a Tactile Learner", where I went wrong and felt confident I could scratch build a better example. I then thought of sending Ron a PM. He suggested a method to adapt the width of the seat to make it fit, I went a step further and sanded off the bottom leaving the peach basket sides, then reshaped the cushion to match the Roden seat width. I then re-glued the sides to the cushion and had a very nice, narrower seat. Ron was very supportive and without his initial suggestion of a V cut in the seat I wouldn't have thought to fix my issue as I did! I want to note that the seat as Ron supplies may fit/work if built in from the start, or also if using the Part PE framework which Ron used as a reference. The last pictures are of my modified Ron Kootje Models seat. Sorry but again a bit fuzzy! Finally although the process sounds difficult, the ultimate fix of Rons seat took about 10 minutes of sanding and gluing time!!!!
