Hi Ernie,
Thanks for your encouraging words - much appreciated

The Silber Grau is a mixture of 2 parts Mithril silver to 1 part skull white. Both paints coming from Games Workshop's Citadel range. I basically bought 2 bottles of silver, 1 bottle of white, slung the whole lot into a 60ml glass pot with sealing cap and mixed it like crazy! The paint is then mixed with Tamiya thinner to a ratio 6 parts thinner to 4 parts paint. I also added a drop of 'Acrylic Flow Improver' to 20 parts of water and from this mix I added just one drop to my paint mix. The rest of the 'Flow' is stored in the zip bag that it was mixed in - Bingo!
Pre-shading was used. I masked off the ribs with 2mm tape, sprayed a dark gray with a touch of dark earth close to and around the rib area, feathering towards the centres. The tape was then removed and the silber added in thin coats. I still have a wee bit more work to do with the silber grau and with post weathering, but all in the fullness of time, my friend!
Onwards and upwards!
